These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Dead Zone mobile application ("the App") developed and operated by Unbuilt Works ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

Dead Zone is a service status monitoring application that aggregates publicly available status information from third-party service providers. The App displays this information for your convenience and does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the status data shown.

2. Use of the App

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the App's infrastructure
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
• Use automated systems to access the App in a manner that exceeds reasonable usage

3. Accounts

Creating an account is optional. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

The App offers a free tier with limited features and a premium subscription ("Undead") at $1.99 per month.

• Billing: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Renewal Charge: Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the current subscription price.
• Managing Subscriptions: You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings or through the App Store.
• Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies.

5. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Unbuilt Works and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Third-party service names, logos, and status data belong to their respective owners.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The App will be available at all times or free from errors
• Status information displayed will be accurate, current, or complete
• The App will meet your specific requirements

You acknowledge that the App aggregates publicly available data and should not be relied upon as the sole source of truth for critical service status decisions.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Unbuilt Works shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time through the App's settings.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
